I've fishing the surf out front on LBI
There are kingfish everywhere Buy a box of bloods and a kingfish rig, stand in the wash and cast out about 10 ft....hold the rod and move the weight every few seconds and catch 20-30 kingfish in a few hours. Best year for them that I can remember in a long time. Sand fleas work great as well. Beware of the huge rays... oh...all the kings are full of eggs. When they spawn there will be even more bait in the water.
