How many trout for the upper main-stem Raritan would make you guys happy? As far as I am concerned you can take them from Lower Echo Lake which has been fall/winter stocked for years. The cormorants eat most of them anyway.

I would be more than happy with just 150 trout fall stocked in the Raritan river. Remember we are only talking about a 3 mile section of river.
With that being said we would also like to see a 2 mile extension on spring stocking, I think the Rahway river just got 6 miles added to the spring stocking. We are not looking for a tremendous amount of fish, it's much like just sitting up and being noticed. |

Raritan deserves more fish , anglers can enjoy catching them throughout the season, it’s decent holding water

When I go to the Raritan River, it is NOT to catch stocked trout, which I can catch literally anywhere else.
