South branch 7/8/18:

I had CJST lead man Jens with me. We made a pile at the confluence then Jens had to leave so I took a short ride up the North Branch, it looked pretty good. When I got back to the take out spot there was a Spanish speaking family there with kids and kayaks getting ready to launch, and the pile of tires and trash was GONE ! I asked the family if they saw a pile of tires and trash, they said yes, we threw it all over there in the deep weeds because we thought someone had dumped it there. Good thing they were still there because I made them get all the tires and trash that they moved. What is it with people ?
