My pleasure Wares. One thing I did want to mention is although the light blue areas are good places to target, don't be afraid to fish the green, especially when you find a good concentration of pots.
As far as locating the pots, you are going to find most of them are set on the contour lines/drop offs on the west side of the Mudhole trench. They're usually some on the east side as well but not as concentrated as they are on the west. If you're planning on pot hopping, a good pair of polarized sunglasses is practically a must. They will allow you to see much better down into the water to spot and sight cast to the Mahi and if there's one, chances are there are several.

send me a PM or a text 201-403-1786 any time you are looking at an image, I would be happy to give you my opinion. I look at satellite every day and i can talk for days about this stuff. what you want to do is look at both a clorophyll and a true color shot side by side, that will give you some context. jersey stays pretty green well past the mudhole but on the right day you find a decent patch of blue and the mahi's will be there.

Thank you Dino. I will definitely check in with you as soon as this weather clears and we get better images. What do you mean by a true color shot?
