this is nice thinking, but it makes more sense IMO to institute a slot limit, say 4 fish 15"-19" and 1 over 19 then we wont have to throw back 15 shorts to catch a keeper.

I like your thinking. That seems to be the best solution to the problem. Or maybe 4 at 15-18 ane one trophy fish over 21 would give some of the breeders a chance to live and repopulate. That and close down commercial fishing during breeding season...Charlie

Great idea. Wish I had some fluke to see if this thing works?
Gold too for sea robbins? I've preferred long shank hooks for that same reason. Just get more line wasted when I snell them b/c of the longer shank.
