Had Jason and his work colleagues out Friday for some ling. Trip was originally supposed to be during seabass season but kept getting postponed due to weather. It was a really nice day out today, but a little too nice and made for tough anchoring conditions. Had to bounce around a little bit. Few spots had some life and then would die off. One area we couldn't even touch because every inch of it was potted. Last wreck proved to be the best with drop and reel fishing until we headed in. Wound up with a keeper blackfish, a few whiting, a very large 4 spot(biggest I've ever seen) and 135 ling. Flounder were nowhere to be found today, a little odd, but the guys were able to stuff the cooler and had a good day.
Weather, unfortunately, is going to be crap the next few days but we will have openings next weekend for fluke and bottomfish

Nice haul. If I'm not being too nosey, what depth were you fishing? Where I was catching Ling 3 weeks ago, has dried up.
