Mushin - 6/4 - monster mako 537#
We delivered the MUSHIN to Cape May on 6/4 to get ready for fishing the Southern Canyons the next two months. We took the "long route" to do some sharking and found a 537 pound Mako caught drifting inside one of the Southern canyons. The fish hit around 2:30 am, and took two baits next to each other. Mate Darryl a/k/a Creature and Brian M tag teamed the beast boatside within 25 minutes, when Capt. Chad stuck the fish. The fish taped out at 110" nose-to-fork, and weighed 537# at Canyon Club Marina in Cape May. We are looking forward to more offshore adventures from Cape May with tuna and sharks!
