Nope not how it works, with what chrisper said no one one would know what their 4 digit number is till I receive their payment.

It is simple but when we are looking at two pictures of a 39.5" pike and a 39.75" pike with the fish bump against anything flat will make it thato much easier to make sure the right fish wins.
I agree with keeping the fish out of the water especially the brutally cold days we gotta make sure we have everything ready. One thing I learned from saxmatt. Every flag (even if he thinks it could be a bait flag or wind flag) he gets he take his tackle bag that has pliers, jaw spreaders, boga, tape measure, camera, hook cutters, etc if you are prepared it will take less than 30 seconds to unhook, measure, and take pictures. If something hangs you up or its a brutally cold day use a boga or a firm grip on the tail and keep the fish in the water till you get things straighted out. I got a muskie several years ago that Matt has caught twice since than because using common sense and being prepared.
Ehhhh i guess but where do i get a 40" bumper board!!!!!????

Lol rapala makes a folding 60". It's like $15. Looks like it'll break pretty easily though.

That's what I use, hasn't broke yet. I wouldn't slam it around though haha.

Guys, you have to put a little effort in here if you want to do the contest...have everything you need for a contest pic with you to each hole you check, that's it. Just be planning to take the contest pics every time. Having a buddy with you will make it so much easier to get the fish back quick.

Honestly, if you don't want to put that little bit of extra effort in, a c&r contest probably not for you. It's just a small friendly competition but it's still different than just going fishing the way you usually do.

Here you cheap bastards it's on sale 14 bucks! Not even Mickey can catch a fish over 60" for the ice contest, this bump board will cover you! Amazon has them too, price varies 15-20 bucks.

Ask yourself this...do you go on a party boat and not enter the pool??? If you do that, you will probably regret it! Don't be the guy that didn't enter and claims you caught a winning fish...cause we won't believe you!! Hahaha

Put the tape measure and fish nose against your jet sled. Throw a flat piece of wood in the sled. Use a flat tackle box. It doesn't have to be a bumper board just needs to be bumped against something flat. Will make judging the fish easier

Shout out to icemusky for joining the contest and donating an extra $10 to the pot. So far with 16 guys plus my donation and icemusky it brings the pot up to $430. Gonna take a ride up to a few tackle shops this weekend and see i can get a few gift cards or donations added
