Was up with a friend for the weekend, SR was slow, we only played with a few in town and all the rest of the river was pretty dead. TON of fish were stacked below the hatchery. We went to Oz for the afternoon but they had already snagged all the fish at the dam, only saw 1 hook up in an hour. My buddy had one on a plug off the high wall but it came off, only saw 2 other hook ups on the wall, all on plugs. We took a drift boat trip yesterday with under the float guide service and had pretty consistent action trolling plugs which was awesome. Whacked my PB at 25 angry lbs! Highly recommend this guide, was a great experience (underthefloat.com if you want to look him up). Heres some pics, enjoy

Great pics and sounds like you had a pretty good trip under difficult conditions. Everything I read says the water is insanely low up there, they need water badly. Do you know if the fish at the hatchery were mostly Kings or Cohos? It's been a couple very tough years for the salmon and especially the steel head fisheries in that area. I think they figured out the cause, hope they can correct it soon if it's something that's correctable as opposed to mother nature at work. Did you see any steel head or browns at all in your travels or just salmon? It's still early but there should be some of both in the rivers.
