bouy 44065 is showing 35kt winds out of the northeast for the last 3 hours and 10ft waves out of the east, that's not going to push any water into the bay on an incoming tide right?

When Sandy hit the back of Raritan Bay I had a tidal surge to the top of my ceiling. NE counter clock wise pushes water into the bay.

NE wind does not allow the tide to go out so the next tide stacks up! Good luck! They have called for a Vol. evac of Union Beach about an hour ago.

Once again, I just related what I heard on news 12 at the time. I hope all are safe. Remember, property can be replaced, life can not.

Good luck to everyone on the coast. No wind up here in Ringwood. Just a ton of snow

Pops was at the Marina at 3 and all was good. Don't see the tide being an issue but the crazy winds are the only threat.

Yes, they are now forecasting that this high tide and the morning tide will not be as bad as this morning. It seems the winds are not as high as initially forcasted.

Live where river n the bay meet in highlands. Definitely worse this morning. Water was 2ft from top of bulkhead. Now occasional splash coming over hitting side of house. High tide not so fierce tonight
