Great Job my friend, good job.

My weekend was pretty much the same only without any fish landed. Multiple hooks ups at the town pool, but clowns were making it impossible to land any fish. To add insult to the injury, none knew how to net one as well so was frustrating weekend to say the least.

Fished everywhere up and low with pretty much all spots producing even though numbers are not what I have expected in terms of salmon but chrome fishing was solid.

Orange patterns produced for those fishing with sacks or imitation and black flys were the ticket for all you fly fishermen.

Snow show was great to fish in. Pretty much anywhere you went you can find a spot even though lots of people were on water.

On a scary note not a lot of females seen in a water or being pulled out. Fresh eggs were impossible to come by and pretty much anyone I asked were holding the in reserve and not selling any.

Had a group of friends up at Burt Dam. Reports were solid with over 15 fish landed between 5 of them. Lots of browns in a water but the same story was there. Not a lot of females and mostly males in a river.

Back next weekend and weekend after that for some more of salmon fever.

Andre

Not sure there's any other fishing which compares to steel head. One fish makes all the effort worth while. Pure chrome or a steel which is starting to put on it's fall colors, not sure there's a more beautiful fish in fresh water. Steel head fishing is not for the faint of heart, great job finding and landing a few, It's been a tough salmon season, two years in a row, think it's going to be a tough steel head season as well so great job putting in the time and landing a few. Makes it even more rewarding!

Which is more rewarding, a 10 lb fresh chrome or a 275 lb. whiptail?
