Good Luck to all on opening day

Fished a 3/4 day sponsor party boat....plenty of room on board, tried different areas, but boat only got two keepers. I caught the skunk, not even a short for me.... very tough day to say the least. Enjoyed myself regardless, plenty of good fluking to come.

Went out on my boat today Headed towards the bug light was really really slow. No bites nothing. But then my buddy hooked up with are only keeper a beautiful 7lb fish. I managed only 6 shorts. Was good 1st ever fluke on my boat was a nice one but sucked it was the only one. That's fishing though and I'll be back out there tomorrow

Looks like everyone suffered through "the picks" on opening day. Can only get better from here!

I was bucktailing with a 2oz Bucktail and a 6 inch grub on teaser, I don't think the fluke wanted that size gulp, got a few decent hits, but they wouldn't chew it down. People who were catching some shorts, had small 3 or 4" size gulp.
