mad gaffer striped bass report April 30

we had a good day today even though the tide was up into the wind all day. Bob Saharik and his charter boated 38 striped bass today. Only about eight keepers and the rest went back. We had the worst conditions that you could imagine. We needed to anchors to stop the boat from swinging and the lines came back towards the boat. It was windy and cold but the charter were all troopers and fished through it. A few extra beers were consumed , a few extra sandwiches were eaten ,but all in all they had a great day. our next open trip is Sunday morning and we have open trips next week call for information and reservations.

We went out Wednesday as well ,managed to put some bass in the box ,along with two blues .Got our butts kicked ,struggling across the bay to go home .
