Sounds like Carhart heavy gear coat, double zip and if you get them in tight together no problem

Zipper wax. When I used to scuba dive had to lub the zipper on my dry suit. Find a dive shop or go online and order zipper wax.

Steve is right. But, you don't need a dive shop. You can get it on Amazon for a few bucks. It made the zippers on my Storm much easier t close.
