Damn that really sucks, but the thing that's good with bones is when they heal they heal stronger- I'd watch out for this guy fellas when it's all said and done !! If it were me I'd look on the bright side that it's not tog season yet... I would have to say that action raises your odds up 10 fold! Best of luck healing, way better than a leg- I did that one... Plate and 7 screws... And rolled my van over, road rash on arm just about gone, but I did extract a piece of glass just last week off the top, one more shard to go in the elbow and I'll be solid again.., so remember with every negative there is always a positive side: you'll be back and better than ever... My next lager is to you brother! ��

I am good with welding if ya want a hook or something in the meantime, remember NASA didn't make Velcro just for sneakers...

Don't get down Larry.
Happened to me 2 years ago at the end of July, both bones...needed an operation.
They put a plate and 10 screws in it and I was able to fish in less than a month, I was able to use one hand to jig, when I got a fish I would put the butt end of the rod under my arm and lay the rod on the cast for support. It was a pia but better than sitting home.
