Got the boat out for one last hurrah- beautiful day to be out on the water. Nephew Pete and I headed out hoping to find some bass, I guess they didn't get the memo. No shortage of boats just outside the Hook but it didn't look like anybody was doing anything good. We read a few pockets of fish and tried to jig them up, no dice, so we switched to pulling diving plugs and wound up picking away at a bunch of shorties. Time to button up the boat for the winter, so I guess I'll switch over to brewing beer on the weekends, to get ready for next year

I'll see some of you on the PUOSU trip in a few weeks- you can't miss me, I'll be the guy who has absolutely no idea how to hook a tog.

We were out today as well got some fish less then we expected. But still nice to be in a sweat shirt fishing. Glad you got out see you on the PUOSU I will be the other guy that can't one one
