fished first beach @ the hook from 7am to 2pm. NOTHING !!!! most of the beach is in the ocean ( new sand bars along the hook to Sea Bright) making it tough to reach deep water 'till low tide when you can walk out an cast a mile to reach the fish. Long time no see jjfishy i usualy start as soon as it gets cold thats mostly. Winter fishing over there for me been over there a couple times tho talked to some of my regulars mostly bass but the papermouths always bite yr round. The rusian guyscan't Remember their names but they have been over there the lasy time i was there the water was the lowest ive ever seen. Come down amd catch some stripers geten is only guna get better

Rammfish66 most of the spots we were fishing earlier in the yr are turning on again the jettys in the back produced a 3o lbr the other day caught and released on a live mullet seen the pict nice quality healthy fish.

Thanks for info kmaty! Actually been kayaking sandy hook bay out of lot c and raritan bay for last 2 months. Caught blues 3 weeks ago but nothing last week. Will try again this weekend. Hope to see you there.
