I agree with BigFishy. That wing damn can be epic at times. All kinds of fish in that area right now. I'd go in the evening with some rather large baits.

I've been wanting to fish the wing dam in Lambertville for a while now but can't figure out where to park to get down to it.

Mjh, if you're still in the area you might want to try Prallsville Mill down the road in the north end of Stockton. Good river access to some nice water, especially for shore/wade fishing.

I took a walk down there a couple times and threw some lures right under the falls but it's pretty shallow there. The main part of the river is all fast water so I have no idea how to fish it.

Find spots where fast water runs alongside slower water (aka current seam) and drift your lure or bait as if it were something natural being carried downstream. Fish hang in the slower water and grab stuff as it goes by.

Head down bridge st towards PA. Turn into the Lambertville station and STAY LEFT and you will come to the boat launch. You can park there and walk up towards the canal and follow it south. Its not even a five minute walk. Good luck.
