Breakfast time fluke! 7/7

Went out on a friends boat at sunrise, netted some bunker in the bay and headed straight out to the ocean. It was a beautiful morning with good fishing. Lots of shorts, a few skates, doggies, sea robbins, and even a big day eel. My husband Andrew caught a fat 8 pounder. I had 4 keepers, two biggest being 8lbs and 7.5lbs. It's going to be hard to ever top this day of fluking for me, these being my two personal largest flukes to date. Not to mention the beautiful July weather (except the slow to 0.0 drift) and constant action fishing.
