Perfect! I look at fishing like any athlete/professional/warrior/ would look at their sport/profession/battle.

Prepare, practice, execute and never surrender till death!

DO NOT BOARD THE BOAT UNTIL YOUR NAME IS CALLED.

No exception. No saving bunks. No hard liquor, no drugs. One rod at the rail and lights out at 1:00

Thanks Howie for posting this. Here's to a great comfortable trip!

Just a few more tips/recommendations to make the trip more comfortable.

I am not the Capt. and not in charge but I think most will agree with what I have written below. Please add constructive comment if you wish. We all want to have an enjoyable trip.

No boarding means no sticking your rod in the holder from the dock, saving bunks and putting stuff in the cabin in advance. People paid in advance so they can board first.

Please use heavier sinkers. I would start with 18oz and go up or down from there. No one wants a tangle in 200ft of water. Frozen fingers and braid do not mix well. Nothing worse than having some guy on the other side using an 8oz sinker and catching your rig on the bottom, then reeling it up as a twisted mess.

Please take a pill in advance if get sea sick or think you may get sea sick. It can be avoided. Even the best of us don't feel well at times. The weather looks good but it is a long trip. Please consider this and if you do feel ill, please go out side. Do not puke in the head, garbage can in the cabin or bunk room. You will make everyone unhappy.

If you are jigging, please use jigs that are heavy enough as well. I am bringing 12 and up to 24.

Bring your own rags to wipe your hands. You may annoy others by reaching around them to use their rag while they are fishing. When they need it, it is all slopped up with fish slime and clam juice.

Don't use other peoples coolers as a seat or measuring device unless you ask. Cracked tops and frozen slime covered lids from others are not pleasant.

Put extra rods up top or in the overhead holders. Nothing like seeing 90 rods in the holders when 30 guys are fishing.

Thanks,

Leif
