Default Re: cost of eels

We sell them for $1.85 each. / $19 a dozen. So your getting like 1.5 free with the dozen purchase. You cant go by the weight, because depending on the size of the eels....your cost will vary per eel. Sometimes you can get 20 eels, others 6 eels, per pound.

To be honest.....I would pay more for the smaller eels, if I were looking for them. But, we are stuck with what is delivered to us. The other thing about buying them.....there are cheaper places out there, but the eels are dead 4 hrs after they hit our tank. So you get what you pay for sometimes.
