Big thanks to everyone who made this trip happen. I had a blast, gained about 30# ( the breakfast caserole and bbq were awesome) and won one of Tony Maja's great bunker spoons.

This IS a BLACKFISH contest. I fished between two occillating fans who continually bounced their sinkers &/or rolled their fish and caught more and bigger than J Murr (I weighed both our fish after they were freshly caught and mine was 2 ounces bigger than his at that time - it lost those 2 ounces because I made the mistake of putting my tagged fish in HIS cooler; to be crushed by a mass of ling, dogfish and sea ravens)

D Mac will clearly be The Chalk because he EARNED it!

After him..........it's anybody's chance. The past winners are all out. Some of the favorites are OUT (Stellie, Clam Strings and Fish Cakes [ha ha ha]) and Boston Pete and FinS really SUCKED so The House will have to really put the thinking cap on!

I deserve to be lowered, no doubt...but sucked? ... 3 freakin bites all day and 2 fish, both would have qualified.

The bow didn't get many bites yesterday, especially the starboard side......ClamStrings Sean, Stelly didn't make the cut(great blackfisherman), FinS & MVP Alex barely made it.


And that makes Dmac's fish even more impressive, he was a bow monkey too.
