Picked up one hell of a swordfish outfit today!!!! The damn fish do not stand a chance!!! Now I need to get some swordfish set ups!!! any suggestions??

I got some swordfish rigs at the NS tackle shop by the Voyager. Good quality crimps on what looks like 300lb leader. They have circle hooks though, which I'm still a little uneasy with.

Haven't had the opportunity to try them out yet.

Circles should be OK...I think most peeps use them...I do for swordys, not that that makes any difference...my $0.02

The Comm's use them. When the circle hook's in the corner of the mouth you can lift the fish easier , they stay buttoned better due to the hook turning back on it's self , and there is less chaffing . I prefer Squid with circles .

Personally I dont like em, but thats just me.

Steve, I have a half dozen of the hooks I use. Pretty sure you have seen them. Will be making rigs up over the summer, the rigs are yours if you prefer to use them instead of what ya bought.
