It's an old discharge pipe from Tenneco. When I was a kid the river ran red after the "pipe". They put a notch in it for the shad, what a joke. All this work is being paid for by the companies that polluted the heck out of the river, not one dime out of taxpayers pockets. There is a huge push on the Raritan and Millstone to restore river herring and shad.

Don't fish there, but this is an amazing effort from that company. At least one of the managers took notes in their social responsibility class in college.
