PROWLER5 - WED. SEPT. 24TH OUR LAST OCEAN FLUKE REPORT

Hey gang, we had 15 people counting Capt. George for the last fluke trip of the season. We’ve been bouncing around, fishing lots of spots, deep water, mid water. So far nothing great 6 or 7 keepers with some shorts and the big sea bass again. Charlie started the day off with a nice 5lb fluke on a white gulp. So far that looks to be the pool winner, although making one more stop at the end of the day. As you can see in some of the pics the ocean was very nice today. It’s always sad when we have to stop fluke fishing. We want to thank all our fluke customers that came down this season to fish with us. Our next 2 trips will be for bottom fish 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM Saturday and Sunday. Then sea bass finally opens up Wed. October 1st. We’ll do that kind of fishing for a couple of weeks and then we will head to the shipyard for a week. Then hopefully the striped bass will be around the third week of Oct.
