PROWLER 5 OCEAN FLUKE REPORT - JUNE 25TH, 2025

Hey gang, it was a beautiful day to be out in the ocean with a nice cool ocean breeze to beat the heat on land. We didn’t waste any time and steamed right offshore into the deeper water and landed some nice quality flatties. Unfortunately, we lost the drift pretty quick so we were forced to leave that location and went into search mode. Tried some of our spots we haven’t fished this year but it wasn’t good. Putting it bluntly, it sucked today. It's always fun to put the good reports with limits and all of that but then we have days like today. We tried hard. Ben won the pool with a beauty. We will not be sailing tomorrow (Fri.) I'll be at the helm on Saturday and Captain Jack will be running the boat Sunday. P.S. we did not sail today (Thurs.) with the east wind that came on a little sooner than they called for and if we couldn't get in the ocean we didn't want to go.
