GAMBLER --Sea Bass Report and one more Big Spring Tile Trip

Gambler was out for opening day of sea bass. The fishing was okay, with mixed sized sea bass and ling. Not like last year, when we had our opening day limit by noon.

Yesterday was better. We had a nice shot of sea bass, some better sized, and good ling action. It was steady fishing.

We also saw a nice sized winter flounder, landed by Ryan B, who had a really good catch with his dad, a few bigger whiting and a couple codfish.

We'll be headed out tomorrow by 8AM. Thursday and Friday are cancelled due to heavy East winds.

Gambler has one more Offshore Tilefish trip, headed out for the big ones, leaving Tuesday night, the 27th. We still have plenty of room on that trip, with good rental gear available --bunks included. Book online or call 732-295-7569
