Default Re: Rod

I run the Jigging World Hybrid 7 foot heavy rod 20-50 lb braid 2-6 oz lure weight.

Rod is phenomenal and takes a beating on the rocks with no issues. I fish predominantly from jetties so sometimes accidents happen with the rod falling or trying to take a big Tog off the hook - it can get dicey but the rod is tough as nails. I have a Daiwa saltist 3000 reel. Love the reel I have 2 of them but I would swap out the handles for a Gomexus power handle - I have actually snapped one of the stock handles bringing in a big tog. Actually a common issue with the reel from what I’ve heard.

The rod has plenty of sensitivity in the tip to see your hits and a ton of backbone. Multiple applications for it also - fluking, sea bass, pumping spoons for bass. Solid overall rod and for the price point can’t beat it.

Tight lines!
