Hey gang, a lot of people stayed away from Atlantic Highlands Harbor today with the forecast. The first boat sailed with I think 7 and we sailed with only 2, Russell and Ben. Actually 3 with our mate John up from Fl. for Thanksgiving, but he doesn't pay. The other boat sailed with 5. Even though it's raining, the stripers love these kinds of conditions. We limited out fast today. I even got to get in on some of the action this morning. Russell told me down on deck "Cap, I can't believe you took us fishing with only 2 fares. I really truly appreciate it and it goes a long way." I told him "Rus, when it comes to striped bass fishing we are very passionate and take it very seriously. It doesn't matter if we have 2 customers like today or 58 customers like a few weeks ago all trips are the same and we fish just as hard on all of them." It's actually pretty nice out here. Calm and only a light rain now. We are fishing every day 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. until the end of Dec. Fare is $90; spinning rods are $10, if needed.
