What a day! Set sail @ 2am on NSB from Cape May with capt. Tom for a trip to the blue for mahi & tiles. Had a beautiful crew joining me consisting of Frank Ocean, Rag Ve , fisty Frankel , diamon Devon, & Pineapple Ry. Arrived on the grounds & just crushed mahi at every pot. When 1 slowed Tommy took us to the next. Mahi were all 5-15lbs & tons of fun on spinning rods. Tom found a floating white barrel loaded with life, the jacks were almost impossible to get a bait through, but I made the best cast ever & proceeded to get a 50inch 40+lb bull to eat my chunk. Easily my pb mahi & biggest I ever saw in person in nj. After landing that fish everyone's spirits were crushed knowing now I'm an amazing blue water angler to go with being the queen of inshore so we headed deep dropping.

Drop & reel tiles, golden & bluelines as soon as ya hit the bottom. Yours truly even landed a triple header as well as getting my 1st blueline ever. Devon added 3 new species to her diary as well. We also worked smarter not harder unlike frankel. All said & done came home with over 40lbs of mahi & close to 30lbs of tilefish absolutely insane. Frankie ty for the reel rentals & putting my car battery back. Most importantly thank you so much Tom this trip was even more incredible than we could of imagined flat seas, sunny skies & nonstop action. Dev and pineapple didn't shut up the whole ride back about the day thank you so much. TYhis was first time out past 20 miles for them both & it could not of gone any better.
