Default Nature at work today

I have been fishing the NJ waters for over 40 years and saw the most incredible sight today. I went down to haul my boat for maintenance Again. and my buddy and I thought we would fish for a couple of hours first. We went to one of my favorite spots 3 1/2 mile past the safe water buoy. We each bagged 10-12 fish apiece. mostly shorts but a couple of fat sea bass and a keeper fluke. then all of a sudden this Great White jumps clear out of the water about 150 feet from us. must have cleared the water by 8 feet or so. My buddy turns to see the splash but not the fish. Then it starts splashing all over the surface and jumps 4 more times. it again jump clear of the water but this time it come out of the water inverted with its mouth wide open. Incredible sight. You could see the membrane covering its eyes and all those teeth. We both sat there shocked at what we just witnessed. All I can say is WOW. All these years of fishing here without seeing a Great White and now this is the 2nd one ive seen this year. I saw my first while on a charter off Asbury about 8 weeks ago. On the way back in we saw a couple of porpoise just inside the hook and then as we were passing by the ammo pier another shark, this time a tresher splashes and rolls on the surface. What a amazing day. All this in 3 hours.
