Default Last day Tog

Headed out early yesterday to get the "last day" of toggin in before the BLOW. Headed to the area we've had success in and set up on a piece and just sat there for a few hours. Pretty much drop and reel fishing grabbing our 2 man limit and about 30 shorts. We also had a 22 inch cod,a 3 ft silver eel ,15 inch Pollock and 4 Sea Bass up to 18 inches. We had greenies, shrimp and clams for bait with the cod taking a shrimp. Most of the fish we caught were females caught right on top of the spot while the few males we caught were of the piece in the flat ares when we sung off, Interesting to me. I also had a 22 in female loaded with roe so she went back to swim. Out of all of the other females that went to the table none had roe which was nice to see. Water temp was 47 and clean. We also trolled up a big Bluefish in the river on a croc, that was unexpected.
