Bow mount transducer

I just got the helix 5, trying to hook the transducer onto my bow mount edge. I got the minn Kota bracket. Seems like the transducer doesn’t lock into place. Kit came with bolt, 4 plastic bushings(2 different sizes) pipe clamp and the bracket that mounts to the motor. Anyone else have same/similar model that has hooked it up. I’m not that handy, so I could be doing it incorrectly but there are no directions. Thanks
