Raritan River Smallmouth

First hit I had today was some monster that took me down river and popped the hook once it got too far down past trees. Sucks when you cant even see the fish you hooked. 2nd hit was nice too but it tosses the hook within 5 seconds.

Oh well! Cant get em all.

My efforts were rewarded with a healthy smallmouth. Also some white perch but not big ones.

Caught on 1/2 oz jig with some random big bite paddle tail swim bait. Other hits came off same jig but zoom fat Albert grubs in chart.
