Default First Boat Trip of 2018

Hit Lake Musconetcong with the wife today. No rush to hit the water so didn't get there until around 11. Man what a beautiful day out there...down right summer like. Tough fishing though. Would have thought these two warm days would wake em up a bit. Ended up with a couple Picks and a LM. The picks came on a Green Pumpkin with red flake swimming yum Dinger weightless and one on a green pumpkin berkeley power grub on a 1/8 jig head. Got the LM on a green pumpkin with blue flake 5" Yum Dinger t rigged with a 3/8 oz bullet weight...the wind had picked up by that time so needed the xtra weight. The first pickeral was a fattie...had a belly like a bass. And don't sweat the blood on the bass...it was mine...always grab the NON-pointy end of the hook when removing from the fish. (refer to tagline here)
