Miss Belmar - STRIPERS

Over the weekend, we fished east outside of our inlet, and also to the north and south at different times with the same results. There was a lot of bunker, and we even had quite a few whales working on the bunker, with a lot of fish in the bunker. Sometimes, you would stop and get 3-5 fish a drift, and some none. Overall, we continued to have decent striper fishing day to day.

Today, we fished right outside of our inlet and also south of our inlet. We read the bunker a lot all day long and saw schools of them along with excellent striper readings in with the bunker, at times. Sometimes we would stop and read the stripers very good in with the bunker and on one drifts we had 8-10 fish, other drifts there would 2-3, or none. Overall, it was decent fishing. Some had 3-4 stripers and some had none. Most of them were keepers with some slot fish mixed in. With the amount of fish we are still seeing in the area, to the north and the south, hopefully we should continue to catch stripers for the next couple of weeks. I will post all pictures, pool winners and a video with tomorrow’s report.
