There's no combination that i won't fish so i'm fine with whatever! cold ice, great, not cold enough fish the deep lakes with the boat, windy hit the streams for trout, whatever it's all good but summer can F off now! Gotta get out on the ice as much as can sitting around waiting for 5+ inches of ice seems to be rare in NJ past couple years, the valley last time it froze over good 7-8 years ago there was 150+ people out there fishing. One of the craziest things I saw in NJ..... Head north for Lakers to schroon!
