9-23 Monger Porgypalooza
Myself,Butchie, Poppa Kurtis, Poppa Dum dum, scooooter, fisty frankel, Filthy Orr, Doc Ev, Sharkbite & Chef Yannis headed out with Captain Hank, Roger & Thunderlips for a wonderful day at sea. Marine forecast called for 7footers & we were met with a flat ocean with a 4ft swell about 500 seconds apart.
Took a little bit to get em going & away from the 14inch sea bass but once Hank found the pod the hovercraft went into full affect with doubles non stop. We hit out charter limit & headed inshore for some tog where we found a lot of shorts but keepers were tough to get & the tog were definitely off for some reason as Poppa dum dum had 3 keepers. Had constant action all day with porgys, sea bass (released) triggers except evan who tried lifting a state record, blowfish, short tog, cunners, & some blues & a lone flying whiting. Captain Hank put Directa onto his best bottom fishing day in history with 5 porgys & 3 keeper tog he was really dialed in. Great time & no coupons in buttercup weather.
