Default inshore bluefins

plenty of bait, bird, porpoise and Bluefin tuna life 4-6 miles off Manasquan inlet today. we saw several size classes bfts, and the amount of fish around was truly surprising. getting them to look at a stickbait is a different story, fish moving very fast and focused in on small bait. 2 guys fishing had 3 bites out of what felt like 3 thousand casts. unfortunately all three pulled the hooks ! fought one about 80-100 pounds for a brief time before she came unbuttoned. went home partially frozen and empty handed but was happy to see the life off NJ in late December! really was hoping to post a photo of a Christmas Bluefin today but it wasn't meant to be. honest report ! merry Christmas NJfishing crew.
