Can't shake the 2015 stank off of me.

Everyone loves a big fish story but I need to vent. I feel like a veteran golfer that all of the sudden developed some crazy tick in his swing. I can't seem to shake the bad luck and get find my grove out there and it's looking like 2015 will go down in my memory as the hardest fishing year for me ever. Yesterday hit the P and zip, nadda, zilch. Today I go out on the P to hook 4-5 smallies and one pike and couldn't land a single one. All of them spit that hook either right at the boat or close to it. Had one chaser that wouldn't commit but at least I did some river clean up and pulled a fire extinguisher out. All of my other trips have been about the same, either nothing or I end up looking like a rookie. One time out I forgot my paddle, other forgot warm gear and got snowed on in late April, last week in the Adirondacks the wind and waves were so bad a few times I had my entire sit on top under water so no fishing other then one spot where I had brookies going nuts over my spinner but they wouldn't commit. I think I can count total caught fish on one hand right now. Maybe I should take up golf?!?!?! lol

Nah, I don't own plaid pants and a hat that comes with a free bowl of soup.
