Out of State Trout 5/24

A little to late to be posting this but whatever. My dad and I arrived at the river a little after 8 that morning. We setup up our gear and had to hike to the river. After 20 minutes or so we arrive with no one in sight. Within 5 casts I'm hooked into my first fish a healthy 16-17 inch brown. Peeling drag and jumping like nothing I've seen before. We fished the river for a couple hours and landed about 20 fish with many broken off. All these fish are native since there is no stocking done at this river. Fish up to 20 inches were caught.
