BOUNTY HUNTER - Big Bass For The Dave Dry Charter, 05/24
The Dave Dry charter returned to the Bounty Hunter today. Filling out Dave's crew were Rich, Matt, Dustin, Greg & DJ. This was Dave's second Bass charter this month. His first was spent up in Raritan Bay where he only saw big Bluefish. So, the boys were on the hunt for some big Bass. The morning Livelining was slow for us. An attempt at Trolling did not produce any bites. A call from Capt. Ken (MIMI V)that he was into some good Bass reads got us moving and on the fish. As the south wind started to come on so did the Bass. DJ landed our first 48" Bass followed shortly by Matt's 48" fish. On the Troll in a nasty ocean we went 6 for 6 and everyone caught a Bass. The 2 largest Bass weighed in at just under 40 Lbs. We were happy to see the guy's go home with bags of Fillets. They earned it.
