Fish Monger II Cod / Fat Flounder
Hello all ,
Got out on a couple of bottom trips and couple of back bay flounder trips this past week. Our first cod trip was very slow with only a couple keepers and a bunch of shorts. Looked all over but wasn't any good for us . Our 2nd cod trip had more life n action but still was mostly shorts scraped up 15 keepers including a nice fish over 20lbs along with a couple keeper blackfish n ling. Flounder was a pick the first trip and the second trip was very good with some real fatties. Shame we are not allowed to keep a few more but Everyone went home with their couple fish limit for dinner on both. Blackfish or bust from now till it closes along with whatever cod come along with em. Will also b keeping an eye out during our travels for the stripers oceanside... Flounder on the windy days. Should have an open boat seabass schedule soon for a select few weekdays in June. So keep an eye out for that as we anticipate it filling quickly.
