Hit the HARDWATER with Mikey, Jeremy and JimmytheGreek today. Slow day overall but a couple flags went up and a few fish were landed. Jimmy started it off with a 25 inch Pickeral, man are they healthy looking this time of year. Nice and thick. Mikey had other plans for the day so he split early. He had to go home to take care of his new pets.

Jeremy and I were the last men standing on this pleasant afternoon. Jeremy had quite a few flags pop today but the fish were just gumming the baits unfortunately. On his last flag of the day his Shiner came back completely shredded. Ahhhhhhhhhh, something with teeth took the bait for a ride but again did not swallow the bait dammit!!! No worries my friend, you keep using baits like that and you'll be awarded.

Slow day all around for myself as well. Managed 1 small Pike around 21 inches and 2 Largemouth. First LM came in around 16 inches, Second fish, last flag of the day was a skinny breeder measuring 19.5. Good fish but I wouldn't put it at 5lbs considering how skinny she was. Good times all around, back at it tomorrow with a different crew.
