11/08....Paul ran his first Striped Bass charter of the Fall Season on Saturday. We had the Chris Cameroni group on board. Paul headed south and found the schools of top feeding Bass off IBSP. Unfortunately we saw Bass everywhere but never got a Bass to bite. Jigging, Casting Shads and finally Trolling Shad and Tube rigs never produced a bite. When the feeding was over the ocean became a desert. It was the same story on other boats that we spoke to. It was a frustrating day to say the least. We will be back at it tomorrow and looking for better results.

After yesterday's horrible fishing down south Paul ran up to the north. The fishing was not great but it was better than yesterday. We spent the first 2 hours Jigging and casting white Shads but never got a touch. Switching over to Trolling Shad rigs was more productive as we landed 5 Short Bass 1 Keeper Bass and 5 big Bluefish which were released. At this time it is not lights out fishing but it is fishing. With the weekend over we are looking for better results during the week. ![]()
