Thumbs up Reel Class 8/5 Ling-Flounder-Seabass-Mahi!

Ran again with a full crew to do the deep water bottom thing. Beautiful ocean to start the day - no swell or wind - made for a nice quick ride offshore.

Went right back to where we finished up yesterday and again had immediate action with mixed sized ling, mostly smalls and mediums. Action was fast and furious at times, as we were slinging them in pretty quickly with some double headers here and there. Also had a JUMBO flounder of 4#/19"+ plus a keeper sea bass and a few ravens.

Next drop when we got bored of this was 230' and more ling, just this time they were mostly medium to large ling.

By around 11:30, conditions for bottom fishing deteriorated as we couldn't anchor over the pieces so we picked up and started looking at the nearby pots for mahi. First pot was loaded, and the next 2 also were. In an hour and hopping around to about a dozen pots, we were able to land 13 mahi to 25" - each of the crew were able to land at least one - all fish were taken on light spinning gear

We finished up inshore on a wreck and were able to bang out a few more nice seabass, finishing off the day nicely.

For the day we had ~150 ling, 8 keeper seabass, 1 flounder, 1 four-spot flounder, 3 sea ravens, and 13 mahi. A great day by any standard - the guys went home with bags full of meat as a reward for a slammer of a trip!
