Talking Miss Belmar - blues, bonito & mackerel

Friday night, we fished east of the inlet. It was very slow until about 12:00 a.m. when we started picking away at 1-3 pound blues. We read plenty of fish in the area, it was just a late bite. Most people caught a few, some caught none, and others were close to their limit. Our pool winner was Tony Walker from Blakesly, PA with a 3 lb blue.

Saturday morning, we headed out east and caught some blues. The weather was really bad and the seas were very rough so we had to come in early.

Saturday night, we had to cancel our trip due to bad weather and rough seas.

Sunday morning, we had phenomenal fishing east of our inlet. We caught blues with a good amount of bonito mixed in. Bucktails, 007’s, 17’s & 27’s worked great.

This morning, we had very good fishing again east of our inlet. We caught blues with mackerel and bonito mixed in. Once again, bucktails, 007’s, 17’s & 27’s worked great.

Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. and every Friday and Saturday night from 7:30 P.M. – 2:30 A.M.
