Mixed bag on the mimi

It was good to be on the mimi again with some very good old friends, including Kenny and Chris! Started off with a lot of bird life with blues under them. The fish were fast movers and would not stay up for long. Not a surprise with the 1.3 million boats out there we ended up with all the blues you wanted and June got the 20 pound pool fish. The only striper in the mix for us.

With sore arms from the demons it was time to go toggin. Set up on a piece and had some life right away. Very picky life, but life. Some shorts came up and a few very nice biscuits. I finally get my chance with a nice thump, I nice feisty 4/5 pounder (my LAB limit). I ended the day with my one keeper and a handful of shorts.

All in all a very nice day spent with great people.
