Hit the big river for a couple hours this morning. Did some exploring and fishing. Walked on to my favorite rock without getting wet. Set one rod up with bait and the other rod was armed with the one and only BINSKY! First cast jigged up a short Walleye at 12 inches. 3rd cast jigged up another short Walleye at 14 inches. Couple casts later I'm hooked again. Good fight on the ultra light jigging rod, Smallie around 16 inches. Anyway it started to rain and the bite shut down.
Headed over to the Musky to do some scouting. Alot of leaves in the water right now. i didn't even bother to cast my lure. Out of all the trout streams the Musky is at the best level. Should be some great trout fishing into the winter months.
It was great to get out on this GLOOMY HALLOWEEN morning, although it was only for a few hours. Got to be out there to get em! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! TIGHT LINEZ!!!
