Next on my bucket list is a tarpon though. I lost one fishing from shore in Aruba on vacation a few weeks ago and I cant stop thinking about it. Gonna take care of that in 2014.

Tarpon have to be the greatest gamefish on the planet. Accessible to all, can be caught on both live & dead bait along with a myriad of artificials, fight like demons...what else could one ask for? We had real good fishing for them @ the Bahia Honda bridge...all on bucktails. Only problem is they head right for the bridge and break you off. only 1 in 10 actually head to open water.

if you do the columbia river sturgeon fishing check out sturgeon frank. he is a great guide...knows his stuff. www.sturgeonfrank.com
